Signing up: which fields are optional
Affiliation and country are optional. You can leave both empty and the form will accept your registration.
Here is the whole form, in the order you meet it.

The username
You do not normally type one. As you fill in your name, a username is suggested for you, and there is a link next to it
if you want to change it to something else.
If someone has already registered with the same name, the suggestion adds a number to the end. That is expected, and the
account is still yours.
If the form looks longer than the table above
If your browser blocks scripts, you will see two extra boxes: the username, and the password confirmation. Fill them in
and the form still works normally.
After you register
You are signed in straight away. The same sign-in works across the ASIDE journals, so you do not need a separate account
for each one.
Your account may show your role as Reader at first. That does not stop you submitting. See My account says "Reader".
If registration will not go through
Write to contact@asidejournals.com with the journal you were registering for and the email address you used. Do not send
us your password.
