Pick the line below that sounds most like your situation. I sent a manuscript and I want to know where it is. Your submission page shows a coloured banner that says where that manuscript is and whether anything is needed from you. See Reading your status banner. The banner says "Reviewers are being invited" and it has not changed. See What "Reviewers are being invited" means. I want to know who is reviewing my paper, or how it is going. We cannot tell you either of those. Here is why. I submitted, but the journal seems to have no record of it. This usually means the submission form was never finished, and an unfinished submission is not visible to editors. It is still there and we can find it. See I submitted but nothing happened. I am filling in the submission form and I am stuck on the abstract. See Abstract requirements and word limits. My account says "Reader" and I cannot see how to submit. You can still submit. See My account says "Reader". I am creating an account and I do not know what to put in a field. See Signing up: which fields are optional. I received an email asking me to verify my ORCID iD. See Why we asked you to verify your ORCID iD. There is a mistake in my article, and it is already published. See There is an error in my published article. If none of these fit Write to contact@asidejournals.com. It helps if you include the journal, the title of the manuscript, and the submission number if you have one. Our address is contact@asidejournals.com, all in lower case. We do not use any other address to ask you for a password, a payment, or a document. What happens after you write Nobody is waiting at the other end. You write, a person reads it, and the reply comes back by email — whether you wrote from the message box on our site or from your own email program. The editorial office is open 08:00 to 17:00 on working days. A reply normally arrives within one working day. If you write outside those hours, it waits for the next working day. We answer status questions by looking at your record, not from memory. So the reply takes a little longer to write, and it is specific to you. Some questions have no answer we are able to give. Where that is the case, the article says so and says why. We would rather tell you nothing than tell you something we have not checked. This Help Center is the part that answers straight away. If an article here covers your question, it is the fastest answer you will get from us.
